BPD is a world-wide network of partners involving government, business, civil society and donors.

BPD Project Support

BPD provides non-financial support to partnership projects that deliver water and sanitation services in poor communities. Eligible projects will involve multiple stakeholders including the private sector either in the form of small scale providers, local and national companies, or major multinationals.

BPD Support to Projects could range from conducting an exploratory analysis of partnership potential, brokering new partnership arrangements, to analysing the progress and prospects of an existing partnership project.

Organisations already working in innovative partnerships to serve the poor, or interested in developing one, can call upon the BPD Secretariat and its members for support.

Interested organisations should consult the Guidelines for Applicants - these outline the criteria that proposals must fulfil for BPD to get involved. It also suggests factors that will favour or discourage BPD support and outlines the BPD commitment to projects with which it works.

If you feel that BPD can support your project then please complete the BPD Request for Support Application Form. This asks information about the type of support requested and the nature of the organisations and projects involved.
